Assistance on the ToN
Volunteering at the ToN is a great opportunity to experience life on a Palestinian
farm, enjoy the hospitality of the Nassar family, learn about the care of the
land, the situation of the ToN and meet people from many other countries. As a
volunteer, you will be part of a small community that works together to support the farm and
the ToN projects.
The current war situation naturally has an impact on the areas of work and activities
and the organization of the work camps.
Especially in the current situation, it is all the more important that foreign volunteers work on the
vineyard. The international presence protects the project from threats of all kinds, including
expropriation.
The ToN has the following areas of operation:
agriculture, animal farm, construction and infrastructure improvement, farm store, greenhouse and
horticulture, housekeeping and kitchen, reports, newsletter writing, social media, workshop.
Short-term (1-3 weeks) and long-term volunteers (from 1 month)
It is always very important for the ToN to have some volunteers who can stay there a little longer and familiarize themselves
with the work. Some volunteers are on the ToN for up to 3 months. Longer stays are also possible and welcome at
. In the winter months (mid-November to mid-March)
only a limited number of volunteers (maximum 4) can stay on ToN for 1-3 months.
Volunteers for one day are also welcome during the winter months.

Visa
German nationals require a residence permit for a stay of max. no visa for three months. From January 1,
2025, prior electronic entry confirmation via the
electronic system “ETA-IL” will be mandatory for entry into Israel. Airlines will probably check whether this confirmation is available before departure in order to prevent subsequent refusal of entry

Financial support
The association JugendInterkult e.V. – JIK(www.jugendinterkult.de) actively supports the presence of
enough volunteers of all ages at the ToN. This is also the best protection against the threat of expropriation of the ToN, which is still
imminent. In justified individual cases (for a stay of 4 weeks if possible)
JIK can provide a grant up to the amount of the flight costs (for further information contact Gregor Schröder, mobile:
+49-1636-335535, also WhatsApp).
